The word safari comes from the Swahili language of East Africa and means literally " journey ". It is an apt expression, as the best safaris encompass what is most rewarding about all world travel. And that comes not from the destination itself - but from those memorable experiences and life-changing moments we encounter along the way. You can buy cheaper safaris than those we offer - complete with 8 tourists in a minivan often covering hundreds of rather uncomfortable miles per day.
For our safari guests we very much go for quality over quantity.
For instance, we always use the larger Land Rovers or Toyota Land Cruisers which normally seat one or two couples at most, although they will accommodate a party of six when necessary. We use some of the best and most experienced safari guides in all of East Africa and are proud to do so. After your safari, it is often your guide that you will remember as much as the wildlife you saw!
And wildlife you will undoubtedly see and experience
first-hand including many of the " Big Five " - lion, leopard, elephant,
water buffalo and rhino.
