One night in Stonetown at the friendly Asmini Palace hotel, with the balance of your stay at a beach resort on Zanzibar's beautiful east coast.

Day 1 Meet and greet at Zanzibar International Airport and transfer to
your Stonetown hotel. Check-in and time for lunch on your own or freshen up and relax. Sometime in the afternoon at your convenience, our guide will escort you on a walking tour of this World Heritage Site which takes you to the House of Wonders (used to be the Sultan's palace and now serves as the excellent National Museum) as well as the Anglican Cathedral, built on the historic site of what once was the slave market.
Also included is the Old Fort which was built by the Omanis in the early 1700's and now serves as the venue for Festival performances.
Day 2 Breakfast Checkout for morning spice farm tour just outside of town. An opportunity to learn more about the culinary and medicinal uses of cinnamon, tamarind, nutmeg, ginger, etc. Tour concludes with a delicious prepared lunch. Transit to beach and check-in to your beach resort. Dinner at resort.
